This is disclosed during a joint press briefing made at the premises of the Indian Embassy in Addis Ababa.
The Department of Telecommunications, Government of India along with Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council with the support of Indian Embassy in Addis Ababa have organized the India Africa ICT Expo that is expected to be held in the coming few days.
During the joint press briefing, it was also disclosed that the event in bringing together thirty companies from India and sixteen from Ethiopia with more than 1000 visitors to be appeared in the Expo.
The ICT Expo 2023 is co-hosted by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology from Ethiopia with supporting partners of Addis Chamber, ICT Association Ethiopia and India Africa ICT Forum, it was learnt during the joint press conference.
During the press briefing, it was noted that such kinds of Expos were being held previously in countries such as Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Ghana now given to Ethiopia to host the the ICT 2023 Expo.
The ICT 2023 Expo is expected to host panel discussions and business networking sessions between technologists, ICT entrepreneurs, and tech users, among others.
The ninth edition of the India Africa Expo 2023 that is to be held at Sky Light Hotel, Addis Ababa, is presumably to boost business linkages between Indian and African countries and to be an ideal venue to share new ICT technologies and knowledge, it was disclosed during the press briefing.
