With the theme“Sustainable Businesses, Competitive Ethiopia, the 27th Addis Chamber International Trade Fair (ACITF) officially kicked off at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center.
The 27th ACITF runs from April 23–25, 2026, with Deputy Mayor Jantirar Abay, ambassadors from various nations, government officials, chamber leaders, business communities, exhibitors, visitors, the diplomatic corps, and other invited guests in attendance.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Jantirar Abay commended the Addis Chamber’s role in promoting business and investment through trade fairs. He pledged the city administration’s support for private-sector investment projects and improvements to the business environment, city corridor development, and promoting international market opportunities.
Mr. Zekarias Assefa, Secretary General of Addis Chamber, noted that mega trade fairs are a key mandate and strategy for business connectivity and networking. Addis Chamber President Mrs. Zehara Mohammed stated that the chamber continues to create stages that meet the evolving needs of the business community and its members.
The trade fair accommodates more than 100 companies and runs through Saturday, April 25, 2026. The closing ceremony will also host a symposium and best standing award ceremony.
