Supported by DI East Africa and facilitated by Addis Chamber, the 2 days’ workshop was held in one of the tourism destination towns of Ethiopia, Bishoftu/Debrezeit.
The main objectives of the workshop are promoting green growth and support (encourage) businesses to engage in green transition.
The training workshop highlighted the importance of recycling for the Ethiopian economy and the need to involve SME in a circular economy .
During the discussion participants have shared their experience on how to influence businesses make a meaningful commitment and continuing advocacy for the prevalence of an appropriate doing business environment for the private sector intervention and take the opportunities.
Addis Chamber has a project partnership with DI since 2016.
This opportunity will make Addis chamber as a Prime mover of this green transition Agenda at a national level.
