Ethio Belgian Business Conference kicked off in Brussels ,Belgium
The trade mission led by the president of Addis chamber, Mrs.Zehara mohammed held Business to Business meetings with both Belgian and Luxumbourgish companies.
Ethiopia and the Kingdom of Belgium sustains long years of diplomatic ties built upon trust, mutual respect and shared vision towards sustainable growth for both Ethiopia and Belgium.
Currently the annual trade balance between the two has surpassed 350 million USD and also the two nations are witnessing rapid economic and development cooperation with growing bilateral relationships of 12 percent per annum.
Economic cooperation between Belgium and Ethiopia have expanded significantly in recent periods and Belgium exports items such as pharmaceuticals, machinery, plastic and chemicals and in return Ethiopia exports agricultural products such as coffee and floriculture.
Jointly hosted by Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce, Belgian Embassy, Belgian and Luxemburg Chamber of commerce (CBL_ACP) , ministry of foreign affairs of Ethiopia and Ethiopian embassy in Brussels, , the latest business conference is such a breakthrough in connecting businesses of the two countries.
In such a land mark event, senior government figures , Addis chamber leaders , representatives of business communities, diplomatic communities and invited dignitaries took part in the event.
