(Addis Chamber, July 2, 2026) : On the sidelines of the 5th round of the public-private dialogue forum hosted by Addis Chamber, a strategic business agreement was signed between Addis Chamber and ZamZam Bank S.C. Under the agreement, the business community will benefit from collateral-free loans ranging from 60,000 birr to 1 million birr.
The main objective of the agreement is to make the bank’s interest-free financial services accessible to the business community, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.The agreement was signed by Mrs. Zehara Mohammed, President of Addis Chamber, and Mrs. Melika Bedri, CEO of ZamZam Bank.
According to the agreement, the bank will provide collateral-free financing options to the business community by leveraging digital technology and an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered lending system.
It was also highlighted that such agreements are expected to pave the way for improved access to finance, addressing one of the key constraints facing businesses at all stages.
