Sideline with promoting business and investment in Ethiopia, Addis Chamber (AACCSA) has been working closely with key partners to support destitute and affected communities such as women and elderlies in Ethiopia. In recent years this has been manifested during the COVID pandemic whereby Addis Chamber hands over food donations to local communities in Addis Ababa jointly with its members.
In addition to such efforts, Addis Chamber has reached out several destitute communities often times during holidays up until today. Considering such CSR engagements, Bole Sub City acknowledges Addis Chamber and its president in particular for such efforts. In a ceremony held on Monday, President of Addis Chamber received an award and certificate of recognition from the hands of Alemtsehay Shiferaw , CEO of Bole Sub city who said that Addis Chamber to be major partner in reaching out needy people in different occasions and admires the personal commitment of Mesenbet Shekute, President of Addis Chamber in taking such initiatives.
