Both leaderships have discussed ways through which the two parties would start and strengthen cooperation on several points.
Addis Chamber is working on reinforcing its Business development and advocacy efforts through collaborating with academic institutions, said Abebe Gurmesa ( Eng) , Vice president of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations.
Therefore, it is a timely task for both the Chamber and the University in order to proactively engage in pertaining topics of trade and economic developments, he said.
The University in general & College of Commerce in particular can provide the chamber with supports in terms of training, capacity building, research and other activities said Dr. Solomon, Dean of the School.
The university will involve graduating classes in internship programs to various institutions including the custodies of private companies, Dr. Solomon added.
Conducting seminars on trade policies and economic forums, linking research outputs to the private sector, are some of the components of the agreed points, it was learnt.
