As a sideline event at the World Public Summit Africa which is taking place in Addis Ababa, UNECA, Addis Chamber put a signage with prominent business organization based in Moscow, Russia to foster trade and investment between Russia and Ethiopia. The signatories include World People’s Assembly, Krasnedor Chamber of commerce and other prominent businesses and research organizations from the Russian Federation.

In the meantime the the World Public Summit hosts a sideline event to connect partners and stakeholders to dwell on future innovation challenges and opportunities.
Speaking at the event Mr. Kassahun Mamo, Deputy Secretary General of Addis Chamber highlights on the role of BMOs in creating employment opportunities, reducing poverty, and economic opportunities as a whole.
Mr. Kassahun also urges the need to increase women, youth, and SMEs participation and promote responsible investment to support social and economic development.
