The MoU is signed during the first Ethiopia and Azerbaijan business forum held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on November25, 2025. Mrs.Zahara Mohammed, President of Addis Chamber and Dr. Rena Gafarova from Africa Azerbaijan Cooperation put their signage that aimed at fostering trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
Giant businesses from Azerbaijan drawn from chemical industries, logistics and transportation, fertilizer, construction , agriculture and pharmaceutical made their presence to forge ties and networking with their Ethiopian counterparts.
The first Ethiopia and Azerbaijan business forum hosted the keynote address of dignitaries from ministry of foreign affairs of Ethiopia, Azerbaijan Embassy in Ethiopia and Addis Chamber.
During the business forum investment opportunities and Ethiopia was also introduced to the delegates by Ethiopian Investment Commission to boost insights and further information.
The two countries have sustained long years of diplomatic ties with unique similarly for the non aligned movement and similar cultures.
