Addis Chamber –Beijing Chamber of International Commerce discuss boosting business

Ethiopia and China have a long history of business relations.
Nowadays public policies in relation to business are improving giving rise for more companies and Foreign Direct Investment, FDI to come to Ethiopia, said Shibeshi Betemariam, Addis Chamber Secretary General.
He told the visiting business team, that the chamber has arranged about 50 matching companies for a Business to-Business with chinese counterparts due Friday at the Skylight Hotel.
Addis Chamber will do every facilitation needed to achieve a successful business partnership, he added.
Mrs. Wu Lan Lan, Vice–Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade , Beijing Sub-Committee , said for her part that Chines companies have interest to do business with Ethiopian partners in sectors such as agriculture technology, construction, automotive and medical technology.
She believes that, the B-to-B meeting will help company representatives get the chance for adequate business information and conduct consultations between the two sides, Mrs. Lan noted.
