The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) today launched a Video Conferencing Facility (VCF) installed complete with equipment, hardware, software, cabling and ancillary parts and services at its premises.
The over 1.1 million birr facility shall deliver superior and image quality by creating a face to face meeting environment while the video conferencing system has the ability to schedule and invite participants to a video conferencing session as well as having a management utility capable of transmitting bi-directional audio, video, and data streams, while the entire video conferencing system is centrally managed.
The VCF and its installation has been financed by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Addis Ababa under the Agro Business Support Facility (ABSF) project which supports Ethiopian Agri-Business in five key areas. Through the VCF, businesses would be able to participate in training programs, conduct B2B meetings and business negotiations and also share experiences. The VCF further facilitates transfer of technologies, and information on various products and processes.
AACCSA would, therefore, like to call upon its members and the entire business community to use the newly installed state of the art Video Conferencing Facility to enhance trade and investment between themselves and the business communities located far and beyond.
